Full Description
The primary responsibility of the Project Administrator is to provide administration and coordination support for engineering proposals and projects, including document management, contract administration, the tendering process, preparing reports and general office administration tasks.
Knowledge/Skills
- Good understanding of project status & stages of a project
- Proficiency with a variety of software applications, including file management applications and Microsoft Office Suite (strong in both Word and Excel)
- General knowledge of contracts
- Comfortable participating in meetings
- Adept at multi-tasking and handling a variety of tasks in a rapidly changing environment
- Proficient with prioritization and problem-solving
- Comfortable with research and analysis
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Good customer service, interpersonal skills, and communication skills
- Knowledge of document control standards, records management and quality control
- Knowledge of project management best practices
Education/Experience
- High school diploma
- Relevant industry administrative or contract experience is considered an asset
