New Job Part Time Receptionist In Nova Scotia

Elevate Beauty Institute of Cosmetology is searching for a new member to join our busy administration team!

We are a team of dynamic people with a passion for educating our students to become the most polished professionals in the cosmetology industry. As a teaching salon and spa, we are open to the public for hair, esthetics, nail and lash services, allowing our students the opportunity to apply their learned skills.

Our growth requires us to add a Part Time Receptionist to our team. Attitude is everything, and our front desk role requires a person that thrives on interacting with people throughout their day. We are looking for an outgoing, positive individual with a big smile to greet our clients and support our students. This role will require evening and weekend availability, offering 16-25 hours per week. Additionally, your support will be required for our Wolfville location, Eau Spa at the Old Orchard Inn.

Responsibilities of the Role:

· Front desk is to be staffed at all times.

· Scheduling of appointments for the salon / spa.

· Manage payments received over the phone and at the front desk.

· Ensure responsible usage of school supplies and equipment.

· Anticipate and address client concerns according to policy with professionalism and confidence.

· Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with students to ensure the adherence of company standards, policies and procedures while also achieving an exceptional student experience.

· Reception area remains clean and organized as the face of Elevate Beauty.

Requirements for the Role:

· One year of previous client service experience preferred.

· A keen interest in the Cosmetology industry.

· A reliable team player who thrives on collaboration, professionalism and likes to have fun, too.
