Reporting to the Recreation and Programming Manager, the Parks & Recreation Facilities Labourer III position performs ordinary labour duties of a routine nature under immediate supervision.
Reporting to the Recreation and Programming Manager, the Parks & Recreation Facilities Labourer III position performs ordinary labour duties of a routine nature under immediate supervision.
Qualifications:
- Arena Operator Level I Certification (asset)
- WHMIS Certification
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Minimum Grade 12 or its equivalent.
- Possess a valid Class 5 Drivers license.
- Must be able to use a weed eater for extended periods.
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to prepare individual time sheet.
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
- Physical ability to perform the assigned duties.
- The ability to lift a minimum 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work shift work.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Must maintain effective working conditions and relationships with fellow employees and ability to interact with general public in a tact and courteous manner.
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check and drivers abstract.
