Full Description
The Digby Area Skating Club is a Skate Canada sanctioned, volunteer run club. We offer PreCan, CanSkate, Junior Star, and StarSkate programs.
The position involves coaching group lessons in PreCan & Canskate, and a mixture of private and group lessons in Junior Star and StarSkate. Successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence, work well as part of the coaching team and support our athletes long term development.
The Applicant Must:
-be a Skate Canada Certified NCCP coach
-be in good standing with Skate Canada
-provide references
We are willing to pay for mileage to candidates who live out of the area. Currently our skating schedule is Tuesdays 4:45-5:45pm, Fridays 4:30-7pm, Sundays 9:45-11:15am, but schedule can be negotiated.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5-10 per week
Salary: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

- Digby, NS B0V 1A0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
