The Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and flexible communications professional with strong writing skills.
This position plays an integral role in the ministry, providing comprehensive communications services to inform the public about ministry policies and programs.
As the successful candidate you will have strong writing skills and be responsible for writing various materials for internal and external audiences including speaking notes, news releases, key messages, articles, brochures, and digital content.
You will also work closely with the communications team and ministry staff to develop strategic communications plans, organize events, and respond to media enquiries. Some travel may be required.
Typically, you gained the knowledge required for this position through a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field of study with several years of communications experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
