The Primary Care Division is responsible for setting provincial direction to support achieving a high functioning primary health care system that meets the needs of all British Columbians. This includes developing strategies and policies using a population-based methodology and health sector performance management framework, supporting implementation activities at the provincial, regional and local levels, and measuring and monitoring progress in alignment with the quadruple aim of achieving better health outcomes and experiences for both providers and patients, at sustainable system costs.
The Project Administrators will support the Results Management Office and the Planning Oversight and Implementation branch by compiling and distributing weekly reminders, supporting the Project Analysts with project tracking, circulating weekly team task reminders, refreshing email distribution lists, updating office procedural documents and compiling written manuals (with input from team members). This position tracks project activities and monitors project parameters and reports out on project scope, time, costs, risks, quality, communications, procurement, changes to human resources and integration with other projects.
Job Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent; PLUS completion of course work in project management.
- Experience providing project management support services such as, developing and managing project documentation, preparing status reports, tracking and monitoring project activities and using project management software.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Two (2) or more years’ experience providing project management support services such as, developing and managing project documentation, preparing status reports, tracking and monitoring project activities and using project management software.
- Experience in the Health Sector.

There is currently one permanent opportunity.
This position can be based in any of the following Ministry of Health offices: Victoria, Burnaby, Duncan, Kelowna, Langford, Langley, New Westminster, Vancouver.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
