Full Description
The RM of St. Clements has received approval for funding of an administrative support staff position under the Manitoba Metis Federation Summer Student Employment Program. The summer student position is for 35 hours per week Monday – Friday ending September 1, 2023.
The successful applicant will be involved in the many varied activities of a municipal office, including but not limited to:
· Prepare Council agenda’s and Minutes;
· Maintain Council registrations;
· Customer Service
· Preparing correspondence;
· Providing timely information to the ratepayers and the public on general inquiries, assessments, taxes and planning
· Electronic filing of historical documents

Individuals applying for this position must be:
- Metis students between the ages of 15-30 who attended school full-time during the current academic year and who are returning to school on a full-time basis in the upcoming academic year (part-time and distance education students do not qualify);
- must be legally entitled to work in Canada and;
- Student(s) 15 years of age must complete the Safe Work Manitoba Young Worker Readiness Certificate course and provide a copy of certificate before starting work and provide written consent from a parent or guardian before starting working.
