This is for one (1) full-time one-year term position, working 75 hours bi-weekly.

The opportunity…
The Department of Health and Social Services (HSS) is responsible for a wide range of communications including social marketing, public awareness campaigns, online and traditional communications.
HSS is seeking a creative, client-oriented and skilled individual to join their team as the Online Communications and Products Analyst. The ideal candidate is someone who can navigate social media and strike that balance of catchy but professional. You can convey a message in a clear and effective way that engages and motivates action.
You will work with health and social service teams across the department to help promote and communicate programs and services using a variety of digital and traditional communications methods. The role will also work to improve internal communications through digital collaboration tools.

Essential Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in communications, IT, web design or related discipline;
- Experience producing and maintaining online content;
- Experience researching, developing and implementing communication and marketing strategies, methods and products; and
- Experience engaging with client groups on projects/initiatives and providing recommendations.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
