POSITION SUMMARY

This position supports the Quality and Manufacturing Business Systems teams by developing analysis tools to improve the business insights and to focus on continuous improvement efforts.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Work directly with functional stakeholders to develop reports and analysis to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
  • Collaborate with multiple groups to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
  • Work with IT resources to assist in the design and maintenance of data systems; including supporting resolution of issues and other data-related problems.
  • Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
  • Manage improvement and system projects.
  • Drive the culture of continuous improvement through process reviews and enhancements.


WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Post-secondary education in Business , Engineering, Data Science, Statistics or equivalent.
  • LSS Green Belt or demonstrated experience.
  • Strong knowledge of database languages such as SQL, Excel including Power Query, visualization tools such as PowerBI.
  • Exceptional data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in complex integrated on-premises ERP and cloud solutions including Oracle EBS, Service Cloud and Field Service Cloud considered an asset.
  • Ability to think strategically and breakdown data supporting solid data driven analytics business decisions.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, possessing initiative to seek improvements.
  • Motivated self-starter with capabilities to work within a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
