Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Accounting Clerk to join our growing team. This position will report to the Accounting Manager. This is an on-site position for our Vaughan, ON office.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
ACCOUNTING:
  • Learn the full accounting cycle as part of the monthly close process
  • Learn Deltek Vision System including uploading journal entries, data mining, generating financial reports, etc.
  • Process accounts payable/receivable transactions
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Assist with general data entry
  • Assist with producing financial reports, data entry and extraction from OneStream Consolidation Reporting System
  • Assist with ad-hoc assignments upon request

FINANCE:
  • Assist with financial modeling i.e. collaborating with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts.
  • Provide support for annual budgeting process.
  • Assist with statistical analysis and other special projects.
  • Present data-driven recommendations to the finance team.
Qualifications
  • Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting major.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
  • Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.
  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
