Not only is the department responsible for managing over 18,000 kilometers of provincial highways, it also manages the planning, design and construction of hospitals, schools and other government buildings.

What you will do?
Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities:

  • Providing support to disposal of surplus property and Land Management programs;
  • Drafting and preparing various correspondence related to property disposal;
  • Preparing notifications, legal documents, and Transfers of Administration and Control;
  • Creating recommendations and Memorandum to Executive Council for surplus property sales;
  • Handling sales resulting from tenders, offers, or requests from the Assistant Director;
  • Processing, verifying, reporting, and determining proper account coding for accounts receivables;
  • Managing accounts receivables for all land transactions in the Branch;
  • Updating document tracking and disposal databases;
  • Addressing front line phone requirements;
  • Assisting public and internal/external stakeholders.

  • Office location: 440 King Street, Fredericton
  • Open office layout
  • Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduated from high school or GED supplemented by a one (1) year related program
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English and in French is required. Please state your language capability.

SALARY: $1,816.00 to $2,205.00 bi-weekly, based on 36.25 hours per week.
