This is for one (1) permanent position, working 75 hours bi-weekly.

The opportunity…

The Senior Diversity and Inclusion Advisor is responsible to plan, develop, implement and evaluate corporate diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives. It provides advice and education to government departments, Yukon First Nations, and non-government organizations (NGOs) on programs and initiatives to promote awareness and increase representation of equity groups within Yukon government. The position plays a key role in the implementation and monitoring of Chapter 22 obligations of Yukon First Nation Final Agreements (Representative Public Service Plan).

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience working collaboratively with First Nation government representatives including senior leaders;
  • Experience providing advice and support to government departments regarding diversity and inclusion related issues; and
  • Experience leading programs and service delivery initiatives in a government setting related to diversity and inclusion.

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
