The person in this position carries out prospecting and is involved with members and clients categorized as large account holders of Desjardins Group and Private Management, in accordance with the practices of their field and the organization's policies regarding financial and tax planning in finance, tax, retirement, wills, succession, and corporate issues, among others.
General Information on the Position
Main responsibilities
  • Act as a resource person for the tax consulting service offered to Wealth Management client-members, answering a large number of tax questions on a daily basis and in all areas of financial planning
  • Take charge of a referred prospect in order to propose the services available to him/her
  • Contribute to the repatriation of external assets of member clients in order to develop their full potential
  • Develop the potential clientele by promoting the service to the Group's networks and potential referrers by conducting targeted interventions, giving conferences, writing articles or speaking in influential groups
  • Ensure the continuous development of its skills by following the evolution of the field in terms of applicable standards and procedures and the various fields of specialization.

  • Workplace: Position located in Montréal or Québec, depending on the the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree in taxation (an asset)

  • Financial planner designation (an asset)
  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required.
