In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Candidates must:

• Have graduated no earlier than 2021, and will be graduating no later than 2023

• Have an Associate’s Degree, College Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree by date of employment

• Exception: This program does not accept MBA or PhD candidates/graduates

• Have no more than 2 years of full-time professional related work experience

• Be eligible to work in Canada without current or future needs for visa sponsorship

• Be willing and able to live and work in New Brunswick, with minimal travel anticipated

Software Development - Hybrid Cloud Services (HCS):
HCS Canada Practice is the trusted services partner that provides open, secure, hybrid multi-cloud solutions aligned to our client’s business needs. Using advanced technologies, we transform enterprises and provide complete cloud solutions from strategy to modernization, testing, implementation, and ongoing management of critical business applications. Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will use your experience in application development to design, code, test, and provide industry leading solutions for our clients

• You will troubleshoot any development issues reported by project teams or the clients

• You will become certified in one or more of the following cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, RedHat, IBM Cloud, Google

• You will be given the opportunity to learn updated or new technologies such as MuleSoft, Jenkins, React, Ansible, Angular, and more

• You will work in JavaScript, Node.js or frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular

Software Development - Business Transformation Services (BTS):
This area focuses primarily in web development, and mobile development. You will work as either a Web Developer, Mobile Developer, or a Java Developer on your area of interest and your skills. If you enjoy front end development, or mobile development, and you have a passion to work directly with clients then start your career in the BTS Software Development Practice!

Software Developer Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will use your experience in application development to design, code, test, and provide industry leading solutions for our clients

• You will troubleshoot any development issues reported by project teams or the clients

• You will learn one or more of the following cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, RedHat, GCP

• You will learn IBM's Hybrid Cloud Technology. MuleSoft, DevOps, Jenkins, Ainsble (for roles in HCS)

• You will work in JavaScript, Node.js or frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular (BTS)

Quality Assurance Software Testing:
Software Testers work closely with our development teams on to ensure the functionality of what’s been created and to ensure it aligns with the client specifications, they may also be connecting with the client to ensure functional specifications are being implemented through technical requirements.

iGNITE Tester Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will track defects by identifying any bugs in the software and problem solve to make sure it is resolved successfully using JIRA - a software testing management tool

• You’ll build and manage testing environments, assisting in debugging application issues.

• You will cross reference data by looking at databases & repository to evaluate and understand user interface documents

• You will translate requirements from the client into manual or automated test scripts

SAP:
SAP is a multinational software corporation that develops enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. IBM is a premier SAP business partner with a large team located at our CIC.

SAP Technical Consultant Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will be developing new functionality within the existing SAP software after learning to code and develop solution to client problems using SAP’s proprietary language ABAP (similar to C++).

• You will be performing analysis and consolidation of business information into reports and models that will help clients make critical business decisions.

• You will support the SAP applications, databases and operating systems that power SAP.

• You will create user roles, provision access to SAP users and prevent unauthorized usage of SAP environments.

• You will learn to use consulting skills & business knowledge to effectively integrate technology into the client's business environment in order to achieve client expected business results.

Oracle PeopleSoft:
PeopleSoft is an Oracle ERP system with a focus on HR, payroll and accounting modules. Candidates interested in Oracle PeopleSoft must be eligible for Federal Government security clearance & must be available for shift work and on call support work in order to serve IBM's keystone Government client.

Junior PeopleSoft/Oracle Developer Roles & Responsibilities:

• Your main duties will be providing application support and ERP Software Development

• You will support & resolve application incidents & defects on Oracle/PeopleSoft ERP applications

• You will be responsible for installation and technical configuration of the PeopleSoft ERP system and databases in multiple environments.

• You will troubleshoot any database and application performance issues

• You have experience or are familiar with the agile development methodology & framework
