We have extensive knowledge managing critical environments including data centers, healthcare facilities, commercial facilities, central utility plants and Public Private Partnership projects.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

ACML is actively seeking a Dock Receiver located in Toronto, ON whose main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Understand duties of both, Dock Loaders and Dock Receivers
Move and handle large and cumbersome freight in a dock environment
Utilize proper handling techniques to ensure items are protected from damage
Ensure all inbound and outbound freight is accurately and efficiently received and shipped in accordance with company procedures.
Escorts Delivery vendors in to and out of the facility. Directs delivery vehicles to appropriate locations.
Maintains computer-based inventory, control/shipping programs, stock keeping
Inspects loading dock equipment.
Performs light duties: sweeping, general cleaning, garbage removal, snow removal, etc.
Erects safety barricades
Maintains signage
Escalates unusual events, occurrences or unsafe conditions to supervisor
May respond to basic tenant requests and emergencies
Participates in reviewing of operating standards, policies/procedures as required
Works in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and all other applicable codes
Maintain a clean work environment
Other duties as assigned

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

Our ideal candidate should have OSSGD or equivalent
You should have Proven computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)
You should have the Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written)
You should have the Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work shift work, including weekends and evenings, and alternate shift start and end times
