New Job Childcare Worker In Newfoundland And Labrador

Seeking a home therapist with ABA training or an energetic and loving person willing to complete ABA training to provide home therapy, respite and play-based skills development (ie. speech) for our bright, fun-loving autistic 5 year-old son. Guidance in the provision of the skills development would be provided by family and child care specialist.

Preferably applicants should have experience working with children with autism or children. Post-secondary education in early childhood education, student assistant or related fields and/or relevant work experience would be an asset but not required.

Applicants must be willing to work in a private home setting with a child-based program in the Stephenville area. This program will also involve participation in community programs for our son.

Our son is currently in school so hours would be after school Monday-Friday, with option of hours on the weekend. The position is for 25- 40 hours weekly for the months of May and June. With full time hours 815-415 June- sept with hourly pay of $17.82 +4% vacation pay. Looking to start May 1, 2023.
