New Job Security Guard For Holiday Coverage In Manitoba

GardaWorld is seeking to hire a spare Security Guard for call in basis and holiday coverage. The guard will be trained to cover both day shift & night shift positions, along with Clinic shift training.

Requirements:

· Proof of Criminal Records Check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening document – original and current (within 60 days)*

o Obtained at your local RCMP Detachment

· Adult Abuse Registry Check – original and current (within 60 days)*

· Valid Security Guard Licence from Manitoba Justice*

o If you do not have a valid licence, but you do have the Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, and the Adult & Child Abuse Registry Checks, then we can get you a Temporary Licence with the candidates commitment and verified enrollment in the 40 hour Security Guard Training Program*

· Ability to get to and from work site–no transportation available. accommodations will be made for guards coming from out of the area via Security site manager.

· Good verbal and written communication skills–English is required; French or Ojibway is an asset

· Ability to work in a stressful environment

Job Duties:

· Observe and report

· Provide safety and security to job site, personnel, patients, visitors, and other members of the public

· Follow instructions or perform any requests from the client

· Interior and exterior patrols

· Access control and greeting services at the public entrances

· Providing key cards for employees/contractors/students

· Escorting personnel and other members of the public to their vehicles

· Responding to panic alarms, fire alarms, missing patients or other persons, and other incidents that arise

· Investigating reports of theft

· Crowd control

· Writing daily and incident reports

What we’re offering:

· Full Time: 7 days on, 7 days off

· Fixed Shifts: Monday to Sunday 1800–0600 (6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.), 1800-0600(6:00pm-6:00am)

· Clinic Shift Monday to Friday 0800-1700
