The Office of Residential Tenancies (ORT) and the Provincial Mediation Board (PMB) are combined for operational efficiency. The ORT/PMB branch in Saskatoon is seeking a highly-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills to fulfill the position of Quality Control Analyst.


As the Quality Control Analyst, you will:

  • Assist in developing program standards;
  • Provide advice and services to support senior management on a range of related program and policy issues;
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate policies and programs;
  • Research, interpret and develop program policy manuals from guidelines and standards for the various Landlord/Tenant and Mortgage Foreclosure/Tax Enforcement programs;
  • Respond verbally or in writing to program inquiries, prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, briefings, for internal and external clients, as well as research and draft legislation for the various programs;
  • Be detail-oriented, analytical, and diplomatic in the approach to resolving issues;
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to a variety of audiences; and
  • Plan, prioritize and organize multiple tasks and projects taking into consideration the needs of client groups, co-workers and senior management, frequent interruptions, strict deadlines as well as conflicting and changing priorities.
To qualify for this position, our candidate of choice will have:
  • Knowledge of public policy development, decision-making processes and qualitative and quantitative research methodologies;
  • Knowledge of program/policy/project evaluation techniques;
  • Effective organization skills and attention to detail to plan and manage work in an effective manner;
  • Knowledge of and experience with The Residential Tenancies Act, The Provincial Mediation Board Act, The Tax Enforcement Act, The Land Titles Act, etc.; and
  • Completed post-secondary education (at a Master’s level) in public administration, public policy, communications, law, or a similar field.
