McCain Farms, a division of McCain Produce Inc. is currently seeking an Office Administrator at our Monquart, NB location. As the successful candidate, you will provide administrative support for McCain Farms. You are a self-starter with strong work ethic, “can do” attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment. This fulltime salaried position reports directly to the Manager Finance and Administration.

Key Responsibilities:
Front office reception, answers phone and greets visitors
Direct truck drivers to destination on the farm
Weigh trucks
Provide bills of lading for orders that one is not provided
Add grades to weight slips
Inputs weight slips in spreadsheet
Pull purchase orders off the email for the packing shed
Input shipped orders in spreadsheet (potato sales register)
Input incoming and outgoing inventory (boxes, bags, slip sheets and pallets)
Record daily shipping info for SQF
Contact carrier to arrange order pick up time
Responsible for CFIA inspection requests for US loads
Ordering various supplies for operations
Other duties and task as assigned

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education preferred
Minimum of one year experience in office administration and/or accounting.
Thorough, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work with speed and accuracy.
Effective communication skills (both oral and written)
Understand sources of information and is able to obtain information effectively.
Tact and diplomacy - ensure professionalism when dealing with internal customers and outside vendors - ability to build strong relationships.
Excellent organization and planning skills.
Experienced with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Willing to work flexible hours is a requirement and extended hours around planting and harvesting.
