The Information Services Division are technology leaders, planning and delivering successful solutions with information management and information technology (IM/IT) services to both the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction and the Ministry of Children and Family.

The Full Stack Developer is responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of scalable web applications in a continuous deployment environment.

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in computer science, Computer or Software engineering or related technical field, and minimum three years of related experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • A comparable related diploma in computer science, Computer or Software engineering or related technical field, and minimum four years of related experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • A comparable certification(s) in computer science, Computer or Software engineering or related technical field and minimum five years of related experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • Must have at least two years experience working in the SharePoint on premise and cloud environments, and using the SharePoint REST API to manipulate data.
  • Must have at least two years experience working with the REACT JavaScript framework to build custom applications using a responsive design approach.

Related experience may include:

  • Experience using a variety of modern development tools, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript libraries, relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with API development and integration and continuous development environments.

Preference may be given to:

  • Experience in software development and solution design on the Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate (Flow) platforms
  • Experience working in an agile development environment with User Experience (UX)/Service Designer teams, Software Developers, and Scrum Masters to iteratively create or improve digital products and services from conception to production.
  • Experience with Software Development best practices such as: simplicity, coherence, testing, maintenance, and analysis.
