Job Summary

A leadership role for an experienced facilitator with outstanding collaborative skills

Corporate Services for the Natural Resource Ministries (CSNR) serves the six natural resource ministries (Agriculture and Food; Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Initiatives; Environment and Climate Change Strategy; Forests; Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation; and Water, Land and Resource Stewardship). CSNR is a unique corporate services organization providing services for approximately 7,000 natural resource ministry employees in over 100 locations throughout the province. These services include all aspects of financial planning, budget management, financial operations, strategic human resources, facilities and asset management and corporate security. CSNR's vision is to be a trusted partner sharing in the success of the natural resource ministries.

This position leads accommodation projects and provides facilities management services for various buildings and offices.

Job Requirements:
  • Diploma related to facilities management or related discipline with one year of facilities management experience; OR,
  • Three or more years of facilities management experience.
Related experience must include all of the following:
  • Experience managing large-scale facilities projects and leading project teams.
  • Experience working with a broad portfolio of clients in a customer service environment and maintaining service levels.
  • Experience leading others.
Provisos
  • Must possess and maintain a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence or equivalent.

About this Position:
This position can be performed from any of the following communities: Surrey or Nanaimo.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 3 days at home per week as per the Telework Agreement.
