Overview

The Manager Sales will help SGWS customer-facing teams map the company’s sales process with our customer’s buying process to understand and enhance what skills, knowledge, process, and tools are required by our sales force to increase velocity, market share, and conversation rates at each stage of those processes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Determine capabilities agenda, scope and deliverables for the fiscal year and multi-year plan, make adjustments as appropriate to changing business conditions
  • Support selection of curriculum rollout and prioritizing training needs to address capability gaps
  • Responsible for helping to deliver the commercial and financial plan through training, coaching and score carding divisions and distributors in achieving performance metrics against a plan
  • Support the attainment of sales goals through the regular evaluation of C2B and B2B, business partner relationships, new business opportunities, and optimization of present sales and service levels
  • Train and develop the field sales team to ensure maximum sales and profits from assigned accounts
  • Reinforce use of communication of promotions and programs to the sales team
  • Support the build and develop a high performing sales team
  • Provide a summary of sales capabilities to relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of team capabilities and performance and identify opportunities for development, training, and performance improvement
  • Engage with HR to identify current capability gaps and future opportunities resulting from talent assessment.
  • Drive annual accreditation process across North America, ensuring consistency of approach and execution across SGWS field sales teams.
  • Update Canada executive team on progress against capabilities and performance plan and conducts periodic business reviews with division Directors on progress against plan
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Seven years of relevant experience
  • Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed
  • Must possess a valid driver license and secure and maintain auto-liability insurance by state laws
  • Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime and weekends
