Your challenge!
Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Acquisition, the Director of National Accounts will be responsible for acquiring new national accounts within specified vertical market(s). You will be tasked to develop acquisition sales strategies independently and in cooperation with select distribution partners to ensure targets are met, reporting systems are updated and selling techniques are mastered. You are responsible for driving and delivering strategic sales objectives, concise funnel management and unmatched execution of new account wins. You will work closely with the distribution, wholesale and CSR groups for a seamless customer experience. Finally, you partner with the Marketing team to support the sales force with industry market insights to better satisfy current customers and qualify sales opportunities. Note: Bi-lingual candidates are mandatory.
Individual responsibilities
  • Organizational Agility - Ability to navigate large organizations (both internal and external) creating high level partnerships to guide and support critical decisions
  • Financial Acumen – Basic understanding of organizations budgets and financial statements. Adept at navigating P&L’s an contextualize the implications of sales proposals as it relates to their impact
  • Industry Knowledge & Influence – Deep understanding of competitors, product lines, industry associations and market influences
  • Strategic Selling Experience – Knowledge and application of a strategic selling methodology with proven success by prospecting, targeting and winning new national account end user business aligned to the Cascades overall strategic plan
  • Project Management – Familiarity with project management principals and application of project management tools to effectively manage large enterprise projects
  • Market Intelligence – Development of competitive market tendencies, segmentation, competition, regulations, etc. and communicate internally
  • National Distribution – Facilitate exchanges between the distributor, Cascades and our NA end users to drive the execution of necessary programs and processes to ensure successful implementation
  • Cross Functional Relationships – Work closely with internal Cascades’ departments to service and support the selling efforts through the distributor to the end-user markets for long term program success
  • National Account Management – Manage the pricing templates, communication and competitive information to address market changes
  • Private Brand – Promote & sell the distributor’s brands as well as Cascades’ proprietary dispensing programs for towel & tissue & napkins through our preferred distributor network
