New Job Kitchen Staff In British Columbia

Seasonal, Full-time. Summer Youth Staff ages 16-30.

Sorrento Centre is a gathering place for all… a place of abundance and belonging. Situated on a beautiful historic 24-acre main campus, with a private waterfront on the Shuswap, hiking trails and nearby biking routes, Sorrento Centre has evolved into a values-based retreat and conference centre, welcoming small groups and individual guests for courses and retreats throughout the year.

The Kitchen Staff will work as part of the child and youth team at the Sorrento Centre. The day-to-day work will be supervised by Kitchen Manager.

The Sorrento Centre is a dynamic retreat and conference centre in the beautiful South Shuswap region of British Columbia that welcomes a diverse variety of guests throughout the year.

We are seeking kitchen staff who are responsible for providing the dish cleaning and food services assigned to them with guidance from cooks and the Kitchen Manager. (2 vacancies)

Kitchen staff must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment, while maintaining the organizational ability to identify and act on job duties quickly and effectively. The kitchen staff must be prepared to work as a team member in a dynamic workplace and follow all safety procedures.

Education and Qualifications

• Current criminal record check with a Vulnerable Sector Screening, prior to start date

• First Aid Certificate

Shared accommodation is available at Sorrento Centre if required
