The Saskatchewan Ministry of Health Communications Branch plays a key role in ensuring Saskatchewan residents have up-to-date and accurate information about health, health programs and services, and the health system.

If this sounds like your ideal job, you may be interested in a position with Saskatchewan Health as the Communications Director supporting the ministry's program services for a 12-month term.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Communications, the successful candidate will be responsible for directing the work of a small staff of communications consultants, leading the research and development of strategic plans, advertising campaigns and stakeholder relations for the many programs managed by the ministry. You will also have expertise in issues management.
We are looking for a first-class writer, thinker, strategist and problem-solver. You will have experience developing and implementing strategic communications planning and will understand the health care sector and its issues. Typically, the successful candidate will have several years of directly related experience and a bachelor's degree in journalism, communications and/or marketing.
