New Job Caregiver -Contract Position In British Columbia

Our Shared Living program provides an opportunity for people to live as part of family, in their private home. Our Shared Living options include sharing a home with a family or a roommate; the accomodation is sometimes provided in a self contained suite. This provides an opportunity for people to have personal support as required, and to work on goals in all aspects of personal growth, including social, emotional, behavioral and life skills. Please note that the services will be provided in your personal home.

Hours

This is a live in position; support needs will depend on the person served.

Locations

We accept applications from people living in Surrey, Delta, Langley, and White Rock.

Position Responsibilities

-to work with Agency staff who provide monitoring, supervision, and support to the caregiver on an ongoing basis

-to follow guidelines and standards established by the agency

- to participate in Individual Service Planning that will guide the service

-to provide personal and emotional support as required

-to provide for the health and safety of the persons served

-to maintain effective comunication with all members of the person's personal support network

-to comply with accountability standards regarding reporting and data collection

-to report to the Community Inclusion Manager as required

The ideal candidates will have some background in residential/vocational or health care to individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Relevant education is also an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,585.00-$3,500.00 per month
