New Job Assistant Deputy Director Of Operations In Saskatchewan

The Ministry of Justice is seeking a dynamic and innovative professional to manage and oversee security and daily operations for the Prince Albert Provincial Correctional Centre.

The Assistant Deputy Director of Operations is responsible for operational leadership ensuring that facility and community security and safety standards are maintained and a rehabilitative and reintegration program focus is supported within the centre. Under the general direction of the Deputy Director of Operations and in keeping with the Ministry's strategic plan, you will ensure the safety and security of inmates and staff through consistent application of policy and procedures; carry out the mission, goals, and objectives of the centre in a manner to meet the needs of offenders; and lead and manage the human resource issues on shift by maintaining positive and effective working relationships with a diverse workforce.

To qualify for this position, you will have considerable education and/or training in the human services field and have demonstrated experience in the criminal justice system responding to males and females in conflict with the law and will have acted in a supervisory capacity for considerable periods of time.
