As an Application Analyst, you will assist clients in the effective use of PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.2 (Recruiting, Human Resources; Payroll; Time and Labour; Benefits and Pensions; Health and Safety; Labour Relations; Profile Management; Training Administration), Customer Relationship Management (CRM - PeopleSoft HR Help Desk), and PeopleSoft Interaction HUB (myHRconnect). The successful applicant will use their ERP and business knowledge to work on project teams completing project work as required. Primary duties include:
  • Design, delivery, implementation and configuration of HCM, CRM and PeopleSoft Interaction HUB.
  • Maintain, create, or update complex application configuration and other functional design deliverables.
  • Collaborate with staff and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to identify, analyze, test, and implement application enhancements.
  • Gather and analyze business and systems requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, and make recommendations.
  • Participate in business process design modeling and re-engineering.
  • Develop test cases, test scripts, end user acceptance testing scripts, and end user procedures and training content.
  • Establish strong working relationships with the Subject Matter Experts.
  • Research, learn, and understand the latest products and features within PeopleSoft.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Computer Science, or a related field, plus at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency with HCM is required.
  • Previous experience with related business processes; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application implementation and support; application systems life cycle awareness; and/or business process analysis will be considered assets.
  • Working knowledge of CRM, PeopleSoft FSCM and Interaction HUB will be considered assets.
  • Success in this position requires: proven analytic and problem-solving skills; the ability to quickly and independently acquire new skills; a strong customer service orientation, with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to plan and manage tasks for small to medium projects.

Compensation: Pay Grade 12 $44.20 - $59.09 per hour.
Out of Schedule rates: $54.91 – $66.72 per hour
This position is presently paid at an Out-of-Schedule rate to reflect
current market conditions. Should market conditions change, the
salary may be reviewed and may revert to the base rate.
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.


Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
