As a banking services advisor, you are responsible for providing superior quality and personalized service by offering tailored guidance to high-net-worth clients. To that end, you collaborate with the private banker to identify and satisfy the day-to-day banking services needs of members and clients.

You work closely with the private bankers, assisting them in an efficient manner and participating in the business development efforts as well as in the activities to strengthen relationships with current and future members and clients.

More specifically, you maintain close relationships with the members and clients by becoming the contact person for precise information on their daily banking management matters or for the execution of day-to-day financial operations.

You ensure that all members and clients have an exceptional experience by establishing a harmonious relationship and by meeting their needs in a timely and accurate manner.

You create offers for routine financial operations and for sales support that meet the needs and high expectations of high-net-worth clients by training and equipping them to interact with Desjardins through the service method of their choice such as the various tools and alternative channels that foster their autonomy as well as automation.

You play a hands-on role supporting the private banker by performing the transactional or operational tasks involved in the private financial services offering.

Main responsibilities
  • Offer a superior quality service and member/client experience to a clientele with complex needs and high expectations
  • Be attentive to members' and clients' needs, propose a solution that meets their needs and requirements, and ensure that operations are carried out quickly and efficiently
  • Take advantage of business opportunities, proactively determine the needs of members and clients, and provide advice to reinforce the loyalty to Desjardins
  • Collaborate with the private banker in managing member/client files: opening accounts, organizing meetings, following up requests of clients and members
  • Ensure that all operations related to client accounts are carried out
  • Proactively train and equip high-net-worth members and clients with regard to digital solutions to allow them to interact with Desjardins according to the service methods of their choice
  • Gain and cultivate a thorough knowledge and understanding of Desjardins products and services as well as of competitor offerings
  • Handle information requests as well as client concerns and complaints by ensuring that they are resolved or referring them to the appropriate parties
  • Collaborate in the business development strategy (prospecting)
  • Manage the private banker's agenda and meetings.

  • Workplace : Position located in Montreal or Quebec, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications
  • General college diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in financial services

  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
