Responsibilities

What do our Warehouse Associates/CSRs do?

Responsible for performing sales order, purchase order and warehouse transfer entries; invoicing, credit memo invoicing, Inventory receiving, picking, packing, load of customer orders, physical Inventory counts; and customer service/ warehouse duties in an efficient and accurate manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform daily order entry and billing functions; generate shipping orders, invoices for mailing and initiate back orders.
  • Enter appropriate customer information into the computer system in an accurate manner.
  • Answer questions from sales staff and customers regarding products and orders using information available from the inventory and distribution management software.
  • Monitor billings for accuracy and communicate with personnel to resolve discrepancies or verify unusual items.
  • Research discrepancies and debit memos to accurately process, issue and post credits/debits to customer accounts as necessary.
  • Assist in daily and month end closing by assuring all appropriate information is entered into the computer.
  • Perform warehouse operations including local deliveries, inventory management, order entry, and vendor shipping/receiving
  • Count, compare, check and inspect quantities of materials and products for distribution to customers
  • Complete one or more warehouse functions within the guidelines of the facility (pick, pack, wrap, load and possibly assist with delivering orders for our customers).

What do you need?

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year of warehouse or customer service experience
  • Bilingual in French and English is preferred but not required
  • Preferred valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs loading and unloading products
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable with data entry with using MS office programs
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Available to work part time 3 days/week for 8am to 5pm.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background screen.
