About the Opportunity

Currently, Taymor is looking for a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join our team on a full-time basis in our Delta, BC warehouse.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently picking the right product, in the right quantities, in saleable condition, to meet customer order needs.

Your day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Picking orders from pallet racking by operating a Stand-up Order Picker forklift machine
  • Operating RFID scanners to pick, sort, and stack product on pallets for packing and shipping of orders
  • Operating RFID scanners and order picker to perform cycle counts, recounts, small put-aways, and bin-to-bin transfers
  • Operating swing reach equipment to transport material to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks, and to put away, replenish, and retrieve materials in warehouses
  • Sorting, packing, unpacking, and stacking products on pallets
  • Loading, unloading, stacking, and moving products and materials by hand or material handling equipment
  • Reporting inventory discrepancies to direct supervisors
  • Recommending process improvements or efficiencies in their work flow or area
  • Reporting safety hazards or unsafe conditions, and ensuring work area is maintained

We are looking for either entry-level or experienced Warehouse Materials Handlers who are motivated for a long-term commitment with an inclusive organization. We are willing to train motivated candidates with the right attitude, tenacity, integrity, and great work ethics to join our team.

In addition, experience in RFID hand scanners, certificates in forklift and/or stand-up order picking machines, warehouse experience, or narrow aisle racking, will be considered assets, but are not required.

Additionally, detail-oriented, efficient, and positive team players will succeed in this role.

Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for candidates who are able to execute physically challenging tasks in a warehouse environment.

About the Benefits

Compensation evaluated on skills, knowledge, and experience, is an annual salary of $41,600 to $44,720 (subject to experience). In addition, benefits include:
