4 month term available, with the possibility to extend for an additional 4 months

The Reliability Student Co-op - Irving Personal Care - Summer 2023 will be based out of Moncton, New Brunswick (220 Harrisville Boulevard, E1H 3N5). This is a temporary student position. The primary language of work is English.

Job Requirements

• Education Required: Currently enrolled in an Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree program
• Must be fluent in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP software would be beneficial
• Must have a high level of professionalism and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
• Able to work in a highly organized manner where detail, accuracy, confidentiality, balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines are critical

The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:

• Optimizing preventative maintenance program
• Support the management of various capital improvement projects
• Working with outside contractors to implement engineered solutions to improve equipment reliability
• Leading continuous improvement projects
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving chronic machine issues with maintenance and operations personnel
• Working with OEMs to solve ongoing maintenance issues
• Working closely with maintenance and operations personnel
• Aligning groups of people to develop processes, procedures, and policies
