We are seeking a collaborative Pipeline Rehabilitation Specialist /Project Manager to be based out of our Toronto, Kitchener or Ottawa offices. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to manage projects of all sizes, acting as the clients’ primary contact.

You will be responsible for the overall work progress and the technical performance on the project. Working with other members of the team, you’ll lead and manage the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract.

You will drive the completion of the scope of work to the satisfaction of the client, while simultaneously ensuring that Jacobs’ HS&E quality, financial risk management, business and policy expectations are met. Your responsibilities will include developing client relationships and staff, project-specific positioning activities and contributing to proposals, oral presentation, and contract negotiation, as well as prepare specifications and drawings.

(You’ll be working mainly from home (unless you prefer coming into the office), with the expectation to travel for client /site meetings and occasional team meetings.)

Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • At least 7 years of strong technical design and project management experience in piping/linear infrastructure including trunk sewers, watermains, CIPP, slip lining, pipe bursting, panel lining, shaft design, bypass flow design & condition assessment
  • A proven track record of successfully fostering client relationships
  • Experience delivering new concepts, approaches and foresight in pipeline engineering
  • Professional designation in Ontario strongly preferred
