The Provincial Protective Services Branch (PPS) of the Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety (CPPS) is currently seeking a highly skilled, ethical, confident and energetic individual for the position of Office Manager / Registrar, for SCAN – Safer Communities and Neighborhood office in Regina. In April of 2022, SCAN – Safer Communities and Neighborhood Saskatchewan was brought under a single provincial governance structure known as the PPS Branch within CPPS.

As a member of the SCAN team, you will have knowledge of office administrative procedures, policy and protocols, records management, filing systems, office equipment and computer applications.
This position requires the ability to manage and organize the SCAN office; receive complaints front the public and partner agencies and create files for SCAN investigations; maintain awareness of the location status of investigators at all times via radio, phone and GPS communications; and oversee the work of the fulltime SCAN employee whose primary responsibility is to view surveillance video and accurately document activities observed.
Further responsibilities will include: overseeing and recording monthly BMO/Mastercard transactions, reviews, certifies and provides advise to investigators on travel expenses, timecards, and mileage returns, establish and maintain administrative records management and operational records systems and edit and distribute confidential/protected criminal intelligence reports to appropriate law enforcement agencies.

As a field employee you may be required to work evening shifts depending on the operational requirements of the SCAN investigators.
