Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Job Description:

Responsible for providing consistently high-levels of customer service to all outlet guests with attentive and efficient service, and by displaying a strong working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials. The Host/Expo shall perform all duties in a friendly and professional manner, and ensure that each guest has an enjoyable dining experience.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Promptly greet customers with a welcoming and courteous manner and arrange for quick and efficient service from serving staff
  • Provide a pleasant atmosphere for customers to dine in by reducing the amount of walk-through traffic using various strategies, such as line control and name lists
  • Offering menus and water to guests
  • Ensure meals are complete and deliver to guests table
  • Clear and reset tables, and take dishes to the kitchen
  • Maintain communication with outlet team members to ensure overall dining success
  • Monitor and stock supplies at bussing and Maitre’D stations
  • Help with end of day duties such as polishing cutlery, rollups and general cleaning
  • Ensure quality of product and services offered at all times
  • Complete other tasks as assigned


Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated, can work well in a team as well as independently
  • Physically strong as this position requires heavy lifting and standing for long periods
  • Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills are mandatory
  • Ability to smile and have fun while accomplishing all required tasks is essential
  • Previous experience in food and beverage an asset; general knowledge and experience within the service and hospitality industry an asset
  • Some positions require skiing/snowboarding ability and equipment
  • Knowledge and adherence of ALGC and Foodsafe legislation
  • A Police Background Check from your home country or province will be required upon commencement of employment


Work Schedule:

5 days on / 2 days off - Business level dependent


Dress Code:

Employee to provide their own: black dress pants, black polishable non-slip shoes, black socks as per Appearance Policy.

Uniform shirt to be purchased from LLSA.
