The Connected Care Services Branch at the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health is seeking a dynamic, energetic and motivated individual to join our administrative team and support the Branch’s workflow and processes. The Branch administrative team ensures all members of the Branch receive quality support to carry out the work of the Branch and Ministry.
Reporting to the Executive Coordinator, you will be responsible for composing, preparing, formatting, compiling, merging and proofreading a variety of documents. This includes correspondence, minister’s correspondence, briefing materials, minister’s orders, legislative documents, presentations, forms, pamphlets and reports/manuals. In addition you will maintain an efficient bring forward and electronic and hard copy filing system. You will plan and coordinate travel and logistics for meetings and conferences supported by the Branch and Ministry. You will also complete purchase requisitions, verify billings and charges for purchases, record invoices, and track, monitor, record and balance accounts receivable/payable and track inventory records.
Typically, the competencies required in this position would be obtained through a certificate/diploma in business education or other relevant background, combined with several years of administrative experience. Familiarity with government processes such as the Visual Identity Guidelines, ARMS/ORS and MIDAS would be an asset.
