About the Work

Located in Yellowknife, the Regional Manager, Community Health Centres (RMCH) is responsible for the provision of management expertise, leadership, and support to the staff of Yellowknife Region’s community health centres, who deliver primary health care and emergency care to clients living in the communities in the Yellowknife Region. The RMCH will also work with the Regional Managers and Territorial Managers in the Yellowknife Region and oversee delivery of the integrated outreach services team.

The RMCH will work to ensure that patient/client needs are being supported and addressed within their regional catchment area, identify and address program challenges and opportunities for improvement, establish program objectives for the Region, and report on and contribute to the evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of the program delivery in the region.

Typically, this position requires a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, 2 years of management / supervisory experience, and 3 years of experience in either remote community health or community outreach programs. Candidate must be eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (RNANTNU).
