New Job Pharmacy Assistant In British Columbia

Two Nice Guys I.D.A. Pharmacy, is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join the team.

There is an opening for part-time hours, with the potential for full-time hours in the New Year.

Experience with Kroll dispensary software and basic knowledge of Pharmacare and private drug plans is important to be successful in this role.

Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Filling prescriptions including compliance packages
• Receive pharmacy and front shop orders, and check stock for expiry dates
• Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette
• Assist pharmacist with general duties as assigned
• Actively seeks out new and innovative ways to improve processes
• Pharmacy is open 7 days per week. Occasional weekend coverage is required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in Kroll
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong knowledge of Pharmacare and third party insurance plans is an asset
• Ability to physical stand for extended periods of time, and to lift and move up to 25 pounds
