Reporting the CEO, the Vice President, Immigration will serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership team, supporting the province in achieving its strategic immigration priorities. Key to this role will be the building of strong, trusted relationships with business leaders, government stakeholders and community partners to enable immigration within our province and connect talent with the needs of our businesses.
The Vice President, Immigration will be a bilingual expert at building partnerships and making connections between the public and private sectors. You bring strong government relations experience along with exposure and an understanding of the private sector's needs, as well as the ability to see win-win solutions for both groups and across functions.
As the next Vice President, Immigration, you are a dynamic and creative individual, able to inspire a team to innovation within a complex network of policies, stakeholders and economic conditions. You understand how to navigate the public sector and are comfortable making dynamic and credible presentations to the most senior levels of government.
You are calm under pressure and know that results are ultimately the only criterion for evaluation; you are comfortable meeting weekly KPIs and can find the balance between operating strategically for results and keeping stakeholders appraised of those operations.
The Vice President, Immigration is a corporate head office function (Fredericton, NB). While the successful candite can work from any of ONB'S regional offices, frequent travel to Fredericton will be required (an average of two days/week).
Bilingualism in spoken and written English and French is required.
