Commissionaires Southern Alberta is responsible for providing professional security services for Calgary, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, and Suffield. The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires – Is now seeking people with a desire to provide one of our premium clients with excellent service as a detention guard working on a casual basis within the RCMP Detachment in Cardston.

Detention guards monitor and safeguard persons in custody to ensure their security and well-being. Typical duties include observing and performing frequent checks for irregularity, recording activities, assisting RCMP members, organizing meals and maintaining the cleanliness of the cells.

Essential Requirements

• Successfully complete an RCMP security clearance (Approximately 3 months)

• Ability to work independently or within a team

• Very good verbal and written communication abilities

• Current Emergency or Standard First Aid

• Former RCMP/Military experience (Strong Asset)
