Currently, Circle CVI is looking for an Intermediate/Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A - Revenue Operations to join our team in a full-time hybrid work model (remote and in office) in our headquarters in Calgary, Alberta.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving strategic and operational improvements across the revenue organization, will have a strong analytical and financial planning background and, ideally, experience with the subscription/SaaS business model. the Intermediate or Senior level Financial Analyst will have a proven track record of and be responsible for partnering with a Revenue Operations organization to ensure end-to-end planning, forecasting and analysis around pipeline and bookings. This is an exciting, high-profile role, rich in analytics and plays a critical role to support strategic decision-making. The individual in this role will assist the VP, Finance in various capacities. This includes, but is not limited to budgeting, forecasting, budget vs. actual variance analysis, KPI tracking and decision support to senior business leaders. Circle Cardiovascular Imaging is a portfolio company of Thoma Bravo (one of the top private equity firms in the world). This role will have exposure to work with the best-in-class operation team at TB.


About the Opportunity

As our new Intermediate/Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A - Revenue Operations, you will:

  • Act as a key cross-functional liaison between Revenue Operations/Sales and Finance, build a true partnership and become an integrated and key part of building sales strategy, forecasting future returns and managing current results
  • Track key metrics such as funnel stages, pipeline bookings, region & product-based analytics
  • Work closely with Sales Organization to prepare Weekly Flash Report for C-Suite
  • Report on metrics such as: bookings, ARR, renewals, upsell & churn
  • Hands on role in developing, maintaining & improving the rolling monthly forecasting model
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets including variance analysis against plan/forecast
  • Partner cross-functionally with senior business leaders to provide in-depth analysis and actionable insights to improve processes, optimize ARR and drive top line results
  • Turn sales forecasts into rolling financial forecasts including scenarios and “what-ifs”, understanding the end-to-end impact
  • Assist in board prep, M&A integration, etc.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and modeling, as needed, across multiple data sets
  • Thrives in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

About You

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in FP&A in the technology/software industry
  • Advanced modeling, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Subscription or SaaS business models
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Good interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with personnel throughout the company including senior business leaders and C-suite
  • Positive attitude, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment; ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Systems experience with Salesforce & Sage considered an asset
  • Experience with M&A considered an asset
  • Experience with Excel Power Query considered an asset
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related relevant areas
