New Job Accounting Clerk In Saskatchewan

The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety is looking for an organized, conscientious and thorough Accounting Clerk to work at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre.

The successful candidate will be a thorough, self-motivated individual that is required to provide data entry, accounting and administrative support. As an accounting clerk, you will collect, verify accuracy of, and input data into financial software and applicable computer applications in accordance with established procedures. You will also compile, calculate and summarize monthly expenditures and identify any discrepancies. A significant component of the position will involve inventory tracking and usage, and support to the Accounting and Stores Supervisors. There may also be an opportunity or requirement to backfill the Stores Supervisor during vacation leave or absence. The successful candidate will also be organized and demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing tasks in order to fulfill the above duties accurately and within firm deadlines.
