Job Description

The Officer, Reporting and Analysis is accountable for the documentation, improvement, development and establishment of control systems for the collection, transmission, calculation, analysis and reconciliation of operating performance indicators and is responsible for the preparation and data integrity of corporate reporting performance to plan.

Job Responsibilities

Below are the main job requirements and responsibilities for the Officer, Reporting and Analysis.


  • Researches, analyzes, documents and validates control and reporting systems/ processes to ensure compliance, integrity and adequacy of supporting systems and information.


  • Plans, organizes and manages analysis of available information to establish performance trends and establish bank of historical statistical and performance data on labour and volume utilization, and operational performance metrics.


  • Assists in the planning, organization and recommendations for the development of improved or new reporting systems, processes, procedures and guidelines used by various other functional groups.

Job Responsibilities (continued)

  • Liaises with Corporate functions to identify additional or enhanced performance indicators, develops and documents appropriate data collection and dissemination systems/ processes.


  • Participates in the identification and development of user requirements for accurate, integrated and timely performance information and assist in the ad hoc multi-functional development teams for new corporate systems/ processes.


  • As required, assists in the monitoring and reporting of any and all union activity affecting the Corporation, its suppliers or both, the impact to the Corporation and the contingency plans, if necessary, to be initiated by the Corporation.

Qualifications

Education

  • University degree in a business related field OR a combination of equivalent professional experience and training


Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Delivery Operations or Delivery Ops Support with exposure to Mail Ops metrics and corporate measurement systems is essential


Other Candidate Requirements

  • Proficient with information systems and experience with SAP, R3 and BI/BW
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Access (Importing & Exporting data, creating queries, linking tables and SQL)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Creating Pivot table, creating graphs, functions, formulas, macros and VBA)
  • Strong communication, analytical and customer service skills
