New Job Primary Care Paramedic In Newfoundland And Labrador

Credentials:

- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

- Health Care Provider (HCP) CPR

- Class 4 drivers license

- Class 5 drivers license

Work Setting:

- Private Ambulance Service

Skills & Responsibilities:

- Provide pre hospital medical care and transport. PCP's will work within NL Paramedicine Regulation (NLPR) protocols

- Administer medications and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients

- Transport patients to hospital or other medical facilities for further medical care

- Maintain/Clean ambulances, emergency care equipment and supplies

- Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided

- Assist hospital personnel within provision of medical treatment, if necessary
