The Opportunity


Regions East Marketing is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team to support the Government of Canada Account. This individual is an experienced and innovative marketing professional who will help implement digitally enabled, multi-channel events (in person and virtual), sponsorships, social media, podcasts, video, written content, etc., as well as industry and functional marketing programs to bring the Government of Canada Account’s marketing strategy to life.

What you will do:

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Account Manager, Federal Government of Canada Account and will work closely with the Regions East Marketing team, and other teams across KPMG’s National Marketing community to deliver strategic marketing programs focused on building the KPMG brand within the Government of Canada. Specifically, they will:


  • Support the Senior Account Manager in successfully meeting client expectations and revenue targets
  • Deploy relevant National Marketing and Communications campaigns at the account level in support of the Government of Canada Account and create awareness both internally and externally to build key account relationships
  • Shape, manage and deploy digitally enabled, multi-channel marketing programs aligned with national plans and local business objectives
  • Content creation and deployment across various channels including social media, video, written, podcast, etc. building KPMG’s and our practice leaders' brands
  • Track, manage and measure marketing investments, and generate insights through analysis to validate ROI and inform future investment decisions
  • Manage KPMG's relationship with external industry, community associations, and organizations
  • Identify and create targeted communications to the client throughout the year
  • Execute client communication strategy with the account team and in collaboration with Lead Partners through regular updates
  • Support account teams in identification of market opportunities and gathering firm resources to assist in the pursuit of new clients
  • Support federal government account sponsorships/event planning through to execution, management of logistics, contracts and debrief reports
  • Coordinate the development and production of marketing collateral, campaigns, and proposals in collaboration with other marketing specialty items including Research, Creative Services, Digital, Brand Compliance, etc.
  • Develop an understanding of services and solutions to determine which initiatives would be of relevance and importance to key stakeholders/decision makers
  • Help identify business opportunities for account teams through understanding of client imperatives and marketing initiatives.
What you bring to this role:
  • University degree, diploma, or similar credentials in Business, Marketing, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in professional services and/or management consultancy, with demonstrated ability to operate in a partnership environment
  • Experience working with the federal government is an asset
  • Highly creative and innovative with a strong grasp of existing and emerging digital technologies
  • Experience in creating and deploying social media campaigns
  • Experience managing simultaneous events/sponsorships
  • Private company business operations knowledge and experience is an asset
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills in English and French is an asset.
