New Job Junior Software Engineer In Ontario

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer who loves pixels & code in equal parts, you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where you drive the direction of the project. You’ll be working with key stakeholders in addition to a direct mentor to help develop our core products. This position will challenge you to think about performant technology and their impact to clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test an interactive, content-rich, and scalable front-end UI that leverages the Cluep platform to provide industry-leading targeting capabilities to clients
• Contribute to architectural designs and technical documentation
• Implement capacity management and disaster recovery to ensure service availability
• Implement, document, and enforce code quality standards
• Create business intelligence around large amounts of data that provides critical insight to brand and company efforts

Requirements

• Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks, such as React
• Knowledge of back-end concepts like APIs, webservices, or RESTful architecture
• Experience with non-relational databases, such as MongoDB
• Familiarity with version control, such as Git
• Understanding of TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes & Python
• Knowledge of the advertising industry
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with self-direction
• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in Computer Science
