Position Description

Reporting to and working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, the Kitchen Manager will be responsible for the following:

- manage all kitchen staff including hiring, training and supervising

- prepare high quality food for day to day operations as well as private functions

- adhere to the Club's high quality control standards for all food served

- Comply with all Ministry of Health regulations in all food preparation and service areas

- Food ordering in consultation with the Food & Beverage Manager

- Review Menu items and pricing policies

- Develop schedules and procedures for the maintenance of all equipment in the food department

Qualifications

- Preference will be given to applicants with at least 3-5 years experience however, willing to train and work with applicants with less - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills- Ability to effectively communicate with the kitchen staff- Superior attention to detail - Ability to budget and effectively price out food

Salary Details

$42,500 - $49,000; Group Benefits; Group Retirement Option; Possible bonus structure; Flexible winter hours from January to March

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
