This posting for a Full time term position ending March 31, 2023 working 75 hours bi-weekly

In this position, you are responsible for providing support for improved computerized systems and related processes for the Continuing Care division’s functions including maintaining legal health care records. You will be recommending, implementing and managing information technology and business solutions in order to improve the delivery of division-wide systems and related processes.

Essential Qualification

  • Experience managing and maintaining documentation and health record systems, performing record audits
  • Experience using a variety of software/database applications
  • Experience running reports and analyzing data
  • Experience with healthcare related systems would be an asset

Candidates should have and maybe assessed on:

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, taking ownership and accountability until resolution
  • Outstanding communication skills, demonstrating an ability to tailor communication style to a technical or non-technical audience
  • Ability to provide education, guidance, coaching on a various platform to staff members
  • Ability to manage conflicting, multiple and unpredictable demands and frequent interruptions

Conditions of Employment

TB Screening (within last 6 months), RCMP security screening vulnerable sector check (within last 2 years), Valid Class 5 driver’s licence, WHMIS 2015

Job Requirement

Occasional availability for work on weekends and evenings for system upgrades
