This opportunity…
This position works in a collaborative team environment, reporting to the Supervisor, Client Technical Services, to provide senior level technical support to a number of government departments. The support encompasses a variety of applications, servers and recommending enhanced services as well as leading projects as needed. In this role you will participate in the planning, development, analysis, evaluation, implementation, and management of information system needs. We prioritize client service and strive to ensure that our clients have the technical tools needed to perform their duties.

Essential Qualifications (what we’re looking for in your resume):
- Post-secondary diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Experience providing technical support in a service desk environment
- Experience in a Microsoft environment (such as Windows OS & Server, Active Directory, SCCM, Group Policy, PowerShell)
- Experience working with enterprise-grade computer network infrastructure (such as routers, switches, WAPs, etc.)
- Experience with VMware Horizon or vSphere would be considered an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Azure & Intune would be considered an asset

- Ability to manage conflicting, multiple and unpredictable demands and frequent interruptions, all while adhering to processes and best practices
Conditions of Employment
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
