Reporting to the Director, Housing Operations this position manages the Community Housing Operations team through the planning, budgeting, coordination, organization and delivery of the Rent-Geared-To-Income Program, which serves more than 500 tenants throughout 13 communities. The Community Housing Operations team consists of 9 employees who are remotely located in Yukon communities. This position also oversees Territorial Representative services in 4 communities.

Essential Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, public administration, social sciences, project management or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading individuals and teams in the delivery of exceptional client service
  • Experience working with diverse client groups, preferably with vulnerable populations, including work experience in mediation and conflict resolution
  • Experience at the community level in building relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders

Candidates who have education, training and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above will be equally considered.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Valid Yukon Class 5 Driver’s Licence and valid Security Clearance

Job Requirements:

  • Travel throughout the Yukon for up to 50% of the time is required.
